Welcome to the website of FRENCH FARMHOUSE HOLIDAYS where we are showcasing the first of our French gites, a spacious (200m2) restored farmhouse holiday home WITH POOL located in the rolling Realmontais Hills in the heart of the Tarn, a department of the Midi-Pyrenees region of South West France

Le Bouriou provides ideal holiday rental accommodation for families or larger groups of adults. Comfortably sleeping up to 10 it is situated in the quiet but friendly rural village of St Antonin de Lacalm, close to the Lac de La Bancalie.

As you will see from the our LOCAL INFO PAGE there are plenty of activities to do, attractions to see and events to enjoy in the region, or, just chill out with a glass of local wine (AOC Gaillac) and enjoy this restored farmhouse holiday gite with it's walled 11m x 5m saltwater swimming pool and al fresco dining on the terrace outside.

Shopping facilities and weekly market can be found 15 mins away in Realmont.

The town of ALBI is only 25 mins distant (a 'must see')and richly deserving of its 4 emblem 'ville fleurie' and recently acquired UNESCO status. As a tourist destination and university town there is a more than usual selection of restaurants, bars, brasseries and nightlife for you to enjoy.

We are 2 1/4 hours from the Mediterranean so a day at the beach can also be part of your vacation.

The gite is located within 1 1/2 to 2 hours driving time of three regional airports, the largest and best served of which is at Toulouse, giving clients the option of a fly-drive holiday if they so wish.
